Side notes:

Acoustic drum tracks are recorded withLudwig/Slingerland/Pearl/Gretsch USA Custom kits and Zildjian cymbals. Cymbal collection ranges from thin crash cymbals to heavy rides to cover a variety of genres. Acoustic kits are tracked with a selection of classic vintage and modern microphones using API, Great River, Chandler Limited and Neve pres into a Universal Audio Apollo interface tracked in Logic Pro or Pro Tools.

MIDI drum tracks are not quantized and have an exceptional human feel, because they were played by a live session drummer. Rudimental percussive drumming such as drags, rolls, double flams, ghost notes, cymbal crashes, and inter-kit dynamics are all there; you can easily drop in the tracks and then edit them as needed. Tracks include everything from straightforward drumming to busy percussion; this provides a way to make human sounding drums with spot on timing customized to your musical composition. If you prefer to have full control over your drum tracks while working with a session drummer, do not like having to construct your song around loops, or hate trying to program drums from scratch. Using custom midi tracks offers some very interesting ways for people to utilize their own sample libraries that are looking for something a little different.

Percussion tracks are tracked to compliment acoustic and MIDI tracks purchased, but are available independently. Standard percussion treatments include drums (congas, bongos, timbales, etc.) and a few rhythmic hand percussion parts (shakers, triangle, tambourine, cowbell, castanets, etc.) and "transitional" percussion (suspended cymbal rolls, wind chimes, seed pod rattles and other sounds). Also available: Acoustic guitar and harmonica tracks in a percussive capacity.
